Te Ōrokohanga series talks about the many elements that form the stages from te kore (The void) to te ao marama (The physical world)

The desire to lay a foundation is known as te ahi kōmau (ever-burning fire). Te hau (the wind) is symbolized by the pūhoro that surrounds the design and ultimately leads you to Te Pō Waiora.
