Āhuru Mōwai

Āhuru Mōwai depicts a sanctuary, a shelter of protection, warmth and grounding. This mixed media artwork also incorporates a moko Kauae design specifically highlighting te taha wahine (the female essence) and how we are nurtured and protected and how mothers shield us as we journey through life.
